Stamford is located about 100 miles North of London on the historic route of the Great North Road between London and Edinburgh.
In the 18th Century, it was a favoured stopping place for stage coaches, being a full day's journey from London or York. The southern approach from the A1 passes the grand gated entrance to Burleigh Park and the 18th Century frontages in High Street St Martins provide a wonderful approach to Stamford.

Music at St Martins is a series of musical events that utilise the wonderful acoustic of St Martin's Church, Stamford. All profits will be used towards the repair and maintenance of the building.
